Interface Development Interventions (IDIS)
|
Interface Development Interventions (IDIS) is an environment non-government organization (NGO) based in Davao City and the lead convener of the Mamamayan Ayaw sa Aerial Spraying (MAAS or the Citizens Against Aerial Spraying). MAAS is the coalition that carried the successful campaign for the passage of a local ordinance banning aerial spraying in Davao and its defense in court as the multinational banana companies questioned the constitutionality of the ordinance.
MAAS is composed of aerial spraying-affected communitites from seven (7) villages in Davao City as well as support groups including various non-government organizations, lawyers, youth, doctors, organic producers and other civil society groups.
